Skateboards Make Great Canvases

The world’s greatest skateboard art fundraiser, Bordo Bello, will be taking place for it’s 4th strait year in Denver at the Redline Gallery this Friday, September 30. This AIGA Colorado celebration will display over 250 customized skate decks by local and international artists including Jeremyville, Gary Baseman, Scribe, The Beast Brothers, Sara Antoinette Martin and many, many more. These inspirational art works span across the creative fields of architecture, graphic design, typography and illustration and are curated by Kidrobot’s Creative Director, Brian Krezel. This year’s event will add an extra platform to the auctioning block, MUNNY. For everyone who can’t attend, a grip of the custom pieces are up for bidding on eBay, but all you Denverites can scoop up tickets for $15 [here] or $20 at the door. The show starts at 6:30pm, with the silent auction beginning promptly at 8:30 and lasting until 10pm.
