Here Comes The Neighborhood – The Wynwood Walls
HERE COMES THE NEIGHBORHOOD is a new short form docuseries that shows the power of public art and its revitalization of urban communities. HCTN’s first stop is the blossoming art district of Miami known as Wynwood. Over the past 2 years the Wynwood Walls — envisioned by Tony Goldman and Jeffrey Dietch — have taken a blighted Miami neighborhood and turned it into one the largest outdoor galleries featuring the best of the best in street art from around the world. The first 3 episodes feature an introduction to the Wynwood walls as well as a spotlight on Baltimore young blood GAIA and creative veteran Kenny Scharf. Stay tuned to HCTN’s Vimeo channel for more free captivating videos on the Wynwood Walls.
Check out the Wynwood Walls website to get schooled on the history of this epic project and the amazing line up of internationally acclaimed and locally respected street artists, graffiti writers and muralists.
