Created in collaboration with UK-based artist Bruce Whistlecraft, better known as Doktor A, this Kidrobot.com Exclusive is a must-have for any fan of the iconic kaiju. As a fan himself, Doktor A grew up watching early Godzilla movies on late night TV, and seeing the legendary monster return to the big screen in recent years inspired him to create his own tribute version in his signature retro-futurist style.
This 8-inch Godzilla Art Figure features a striking electroplated finish in gunmetal gray to evoke the look of forged metal. The limited-edition piece also incorporates detailed industrial design elements like chimneys, the look of hammered metal throughout, and even working gears. “Replacing the dorsal fins with giant gears was my whole focus for this design,” says Doktor A. “I thought it was such a bold look without losing any of the original dynamic of the character.”
The result is a jaw-dropping fusion of monster and machine. The packaging was also designed by Doktor A and worthy of display in its own right.

About the Artist
After leaving the mainstream toy industry, Doktor A has been a mainstay of the art toy scene for the last two decades. With over 50 production toys and 200+ Mechtorian characters, his “retro-futurist” aesthetic is recognized the world over. In addition to his Mechtorians Mini Art Figure Series, Doktor A has collaborated with Kidrobot on various Dunny series going back to 2009. Now he’s back again to deliver his unique twist on the King of the Monsters.
