Temple Installation In Lisbon By FAILE
Brooklyn art collective, FAILE have taken their cutting edge collage style of pop art to a whole new level with their Temple project in Lisbon, Portugal. The site specific art piece is a massive urban cathedral in part with Portugal Arte ’10. It took a team of helpers less than two weeks to build using ceramic, marble, bronze, cast iron, steel, limestone, and mosaic tiles. The amount of detail and effort into erecting this temporary installation is extraordinary. If your in Lisbon before August 15 be sure to check it out in the Praça dos Restauradores Square.
