Contemporary art is alive and well in Akron, Ohio. Vivid Plastic’s new low brow toy show Paper or Plastic opened to a record-breaking crowd of over 500 gallery visitors on Friday November 18 at The Box Gallery. The exhibition has over 80 works of art & customized MUNNY toys with over 40 incredible artists from Northeast Ohio and beyond. Featured talents include: Jeff Lamm, Erin Mulligan, Andrew Shondrick, Bonnie Stipe, David Spasic, Joshua Davis, Matt Miller, Nathan Mayfield and Rob Lehr. The show will be on display from 12pm-5pm on Fridays & Saturdays and runs through December 31 with special extended hours for Art Walk events . Paper Or Plastic could not have been made possible without the help of Vivid Plastic Toys and Artists of Rubber City.
