Google Art Project Brings Museums To You

google-art-project

Google just unveiled their new ground breaking Art Project. It basically brings street view into 17 of the worlds most prestigious museums, digitally archiving 400 rooms and 385 artists. Take control of your own virtual tour in places like the MoMA in New York, The National Gallery in London and The Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. The most incredible aspect is the Gigapixel Art Work with selected pieces zoomed up to 7 billion pixels, giving you a closer look than the human eye is capable of. Check it out for yourself and have fun exploring master works from around the world like never before.
