Nightriders are a particular breed of nocturnal bird spirits that wander between the supernatural world and earth-bound gods, communicating with unseen.

These supra normal beings are the creation of Nathan Jurevicius , a Canadian based Australian artist whose diverse range of work has appeared in numerous publications, advertising campaigns, and galleries around the world. Nathan is also well known for his Scarygirl universe.

About Nathan Jurevicius

Nathan Jurevicius is a Canadian based Australian artist whose diverse range of work has appeared in numerous publications, advertising campaigns, and galleries around the world.

His most acclaimed project to date is Scarygirl, a brand that since 2001 has developed an underground fan following manifested in comics, limited edition vinyl toy figures, console games and internationally exhibited artwork.

The property is now in development for an animated feature film. 

In 2013 Nathan completed his action/adventure mini series 'Peleda’, co-produced with his brother Luke for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Since its launch Peleda has since won an Australian Academy Award (AACTA) for Best Production Design and 2 New York Kidscreen Awards for Best Television Special and Children’s Website.

Currently Nathan is directing a short film based on his kids book 'Junction' (published by Koyama Press).
