Nathan Jurevicius is a Canadian based Australian artist whose diverse range of work has appeared in numerous publications, advertising campaigns, and galleries around the world.
His most acclaimed project to date is Scarygirl, a brand that since 2001 has developed an underground fan following manifested in comics, limited edition vinyl toy figures, console games and internationally exhibited artwork.
The property is now in development for an animated feature film and currently in production on a free-roam VR experience being produced in Toronto.
In 2013 Nathan completed his action/adventure mini series 'Peleda’, co-produced with his brother Luke for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. Since its launch Peleda has since won an Australian Academy Award (AACTA) for Best Production Design and 2 New York Kidscreen Awards for Best Television Special and Children’s Website.
Nathan's latest projects include his award winning short film 'Junction' based on his kids book 'Junction' (published by Koyama Press), a pre-school tv series titled 'Quiggle' and a glass object collaboration with IKEA
Kidrobot has worked with Nathan Jurevicius on various other projects including the Scarygirl CityFolk mini figure series (2007) and Nightriders mini figure series (2016).
