Kidrobot has once again teamed up with artist Quiccs to bring to life the fusion of TEQ and Dunny in an epic creation.  Introducing the VOLTEQ Dunny 20” Vinyl Art Figure by Philippines-based illustrator, toy designer, and graffiti artist Quiccs. This giant 20” Dunny is a mecha-inspired statement piece based on the artist’s TEQ63 character, a post-apocalyptic hero living in a dystopian society.

Quiccs is inspired by a love of Japanese robot culture and hip-hop, and has a vibrant street-art style that is instantly recognizable. Kidrobot has collaborated with Quiccs on many projects in the past, such as the Kidrobot-exclusive TEQ63 Figures, Ukami x Hitsuji Art Figure by Quiccs, HELLBOTS MEGATEQ, Hello Kitty TEQ63 Figures, Exquisite Corpse Dunny Series, Designer Toy Awards Dunny Series and many more.

ABOUT QUICCS

Quiccs Maiquez (QUICCS), an illustrator, toy designer, and graffiti artist, has a style deeply rooted in his love for Japanese robot culture and hip-hop influences since his childhood days. 

He has launched a line of his original and custom designer toys under the brand Hidden Fortress and continues to create them as an independent toy producer since 2012. He has also collaborated with Designer Toy producers from around the world such as Flabslab from Singapore, Kidrobot, and Devil Toys from Hong Kong to come up with Resin, Vinyl, and Action Figures based on his original characters such as The Ghost of Kurosawa, Sharko & Remi, and his flagship character, TEQ63. Kidrobot has worked with Quiccs on the Designer Toy Awards Dunny Series, Kidrobot.com Exclusive TEQ63 Figures, the Hello Kitty Art Figure by Quiccs, Ukami x Hitsuji Art Figures, Exquisite Corpse Dunny Series, and HELLBOTS MEGATEQ.

Quiccs currently co-owns the commercial design firm Burnwater Design Studios. He also represents the international Graffiti crews Zinc Nite Crew, Three Flare Krew, and the Filipino local artist collective Pilipinas Street Plan.
